Here are some of the highlights:
- Local airport control towers invite flight instructors and their students up for visits.
- The practice ILS at Luke Auxiliary Airfield near the south proving grounds, in the northwest Valley, is available for both training and currency. But, it cannot be used on checkrides.
- Remember Falcon Field’s north runway is closed when the tower is closed. Make left traffic Runway 04R, and right traffic on 22L, to stay on the north side of the airport, as outlined in the AFD.
